The Grand

Theater in Lodz - Lodz largest theater, specia lizing in issues of operas, operettas and ballet. Opened 19 Janua ry 1967 By the end of 2005, it issued more than 240 premieres. Th eater is one of the most important opera houses in Poland. Managi ng director of the opera is Marek Szyjko. Implemented here for both the classical works of composers (including Peter Tchaikovsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giuseppe Verdi, Richard Wagner) and contemporary (such as Krzysztof Penderecki and Bogdan Pawlowski).
